About the Role
The Pickleball Association of America (P-BAA) is seeking a creative and experienced Content Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and managing content for P-BAA's various digital platforms, including social media, website, and email marketing campaigns. As the Content Manager, you will play a vital role in promoting P-BAA's brand voice and increasing engagement with our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage P-BAA's content strategy, ensuring that all content aligns with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
• Create and edit engaging and relevant content for P-BAA's various digital platforms, including social media, website, and email marketing campaigns.
• Develop and manage P-BAA's editorial calendar, ensuring that content is published on a consistent basis and is aligned with key events and initiatives.
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, using data to inform content strategy and make recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with other P-BAA teams, including marketing, communications, and events, to ensure that all content is aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
• Manage relationships with external content partners, including freelancers and agencies.
• Stay up to date on trends and best practices in content marketing, making recommendations for new approaches and tactics.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
3+ years of experience in content marketing, social media management, or a related field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to adapt to different tones and styles.
Experience creating content for social media, website, and email marketing campaigns.
Knowledge of content marketing best practices, including SEO and keyword research
Experience with content management systems and analytics tools
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
The Content Manager will report directly to the Director of Marketing and work closely with the P-BAA team to ensure that all content is engaging, relevant, and aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
